Wood fired Pizzas, From-Scratch Pastas, Salads, and Small Plates



Tifeo Italian Tavern is the second iteration of Joe Mama's Wood Fired Pizza.  We have a new name and expanded menu that includes fresh house-made pastas in addition to our beloved wood-fired pizzas. 

After 4 amazing years of serving Tallahassee's best pizza, we decided that we were ready to expand our menu, and also for a name that better conveys the upscale casual atmosphere and high-quality, from-scratch food that we have always aimed to provide. 

There has been no change in ownership - the restaurant is still family owned and operated by Devon Nunneley with the help of her sister, Drue.  

Devon is a recovering attorney who left her Washington, DC-based corporate litigation career to spend a year traveling the world.  She has wandered through food markets, received cooking instruction, and eaten delicious and bizarre things in more than 30 countries.  She is also a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers.

Tifeo's menu builds on the recipes developed over the past 30 years by her father, James Nunneley.  It is designed to be shared among friends and family over a drink (or two) and a good laugh.
